Travel information for WRTC participants/visitors

This should answer your questions regarding your trip to Russia for WRTC-2010.

Accommodation

You are staying in Atlas Park Hotel, this is main WRTC venue.

Sportsmen and Referees are staying in hotel 8 -13 July 2010 free of charge.

If you arrive before 8 July or stay later 13 July, you will need to pay for extra nights.

The accompanying guests are charged half of the room in case they share the room with the sportsmen in the period during 8 -13 July 2010.

Welt indicates the cost of the room in the Confirmation with the number of tour and the Cover paper sent to you individually. Accommodation pricing is available at the "Hotels".

The dead line for payment is indicated in your Confirmation letter and you have no less than 5 days before the dead line to make payment. You pay only for confirmed and agreed services.

Transportation

Competitors and referees will be met at both Domodedovo (DME) and Sheremetevo (SVO) airport as well as any Railway terminal in Moscow city whatever date they arrive. FREE of charge.

We provide transportation to visitors as will, on charge basis. Should visitor take same bus or car with referee or participant (i.e. not require separate transport), trip will be free of charge for him too.

We need the exact date of your flights and time of your arrival to manage the correct schedule of your meeting. As soon as you have your flights detailes please fill it in "Online Application" form.

Information concerning Sportsman Visa

EU country Participants of WRTC
We have sent to you scanned Invitation Letter from WRTC2010 Organizers and Confirmation for Russian Embassy. Documents are sent to your address by courier mail. As soon as you get those documents you may apply to Russian Embassy or Consulate in the city stated in your Confirmation for Russian Embassy.

Personal visit to Russian Embassy or Consulate
1. Please have on hand the Original Invitation letter and Confirmation for Russian Embassy.

2. While in the Russian Consulate please fill in the Application Form which you will be given here. You can also bring filled in Application Form which is available from WEB site of the Russian consulate of your country

3. The type of the visa is «humanitarian». Please check with Consulate which Application Form you need to use to apply for sportsman visa.

4. The sponsoring organization in visa Application Form should be listed as Ministry for Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy of Russian Federation

5. Bring your passport. Visa will be put in your passport as a small paper.

6. Do not forget passport size pictures for application.

Mailing visa application.
1. Please check with Russian Consulate in your country if mail application is available.

2. Get Application Form from WEB site of Russian Embassy in your country, fill it out and mail to Embassy by courier.

3. Make sure to put in envelope: filled in Application Form, the Original invitation, Confirmation for Russian Embassy, passport and photos. Check with Consulate how to pay visa fee and provide payment.

4. Upon processing of application Russian Embassy will send back to your address passport with visa.

5. Usually visa application turnaround time as no longer than 7 days.

Non EU country WRTC Participants.
1. As of now everyone who filled the form on WRTC site should have received Telex # to Russian Consulate in the city that he indicated. Telex is only the number which you refer to when applying for visa.

2. Date when you can go to the Russian Consulate is indicated to each of you individually.

3. Applying for visa. You can act two ways:

Personal visit to the Russian Consulate.
1. You should visit Russian Consulate not earlier than date stated with your Telex #. Check for your Telex number.

2. While in Russian Consulate please refer to Telex # and fill in the Application Form which you will be given here. You can also bring filled Application Form that is available on Consulate site of your city.

3. The type of the visa is «humanitarian». Please check with Consulate which Application Form to use for sportsman visa.

4. Bring your passport. Visa will be put in your passport as a small paper.

5. Do not forget passport size pictures for application.

2. The type of the visa is «humanitarian». Please check with Consulate which Application Form to use for sportsman visa.

3. Telex # you received from WELT serves as your "Letter of Invitation". Put "TELEX ХХХ" on Visa application form, in the box asking for type of Visa requested. Yo do not have to provide original of invitation or other papers. You do not need to use any agency service to apply for visa, you have all papers necessary.

Payments

Sportsmen and Referees are staying in hotel 8 -13 July 2010 free of charge; it is automatically taken care of by WELT after their registration on WRTC Online Application.

Welt indicates the cost of the room in the Confirmation with the number of tour and the Cover paper sent to you individually.
